Extend His Reign!

Published by Pastor Ron Campbell on

The disciples were eyewitnesses to all that had happened to Jesus Christ… His life, His crucifixion, and for 40 days after his resurrection, He taught them more about the kingdom of God. Think about the change the resurrection made in the lives of the Disciples. At the crucifixion, they scattered, felt disillusioned, and afraid for their lives. But then, after seeing the resurrected Christ, they became fearless and risked everything to spread the good news about Him around the world. They faced imprisonment, beatings, rejection, and martyrdom, yet they never compromised their mission. They knew Jesus was alive, and the early church was fired up with their enthusiasm to tell others. We need to know this so we have that same enthusiasm and confidence to share our own testimony.

All believers receive power from the Holy Spirit which includes courage, boldness, confidence, insight, ability, and authority. The disciples would need all these gifts to fulfill their mission. When you believe in Jesus Christ, you will experience the power of the Holy Spirit in your life.

What is your testimony? How is the Holy Spirit working in your life today!

Remember as a believer (disciple) never compromised your mission… go out and be someone’s shelter in the storm… their water in whatever desert they are in… and share the good news and extend His Reign!
