God Will Judge All Works Both Good And Evil

Published by Pastor Ron Campbell on

No matter what the contradictions of life are, we must work toward the single purpose of knowing God. We should enjoy life, but this does not excuse us from obeying God’s commands. We should also search for purpose and meaning in life, but remember they can’t be found in human endeavors. We need to acknowledge the evil, foolishness, and injustice in life, but maintain a positive attitude and strong faith in God.

Using all of life’s inconsistencies as an excuse for failing to live properly is just that, and excuse. So, make sure to recognize that human effort apart from God is futile. We must put God first now! We need to remember to receive everything as a gift from God.

It is so tempting for us to judge fellow Christians, evaluating whether or not they are good followers of Jesus. Remember, only God knows a person’s heart, and he is the only one with the right to judge. However, we should confront those who are sinning (1 Corinthians 5:12-13), but we must not judge who is a better servant for Christ.

Remember, let God judge others because when we judge someone, we invariably consider ourselves better and that is arrogant.

All of us will have to stand before God and be judged for what we have done in this life with what God has given us, the good and bad.
