Consider It Pure Joy

Consider it pure joy whenever you face trials of many kinds – James 1:2

James didn’t say, “If we face trials,” he said “whenever.” He knew we would have trials, in fact many trials and struggles in our lives. We can however benefit from these struggles. Instead of complaining about our struggles we should see them as opportunities to grow. The point isn’t to pretend to be happy when we face pain but to have a positive outlook.

God wants us to be mature and complete. So in these times ask God to help solve our problems or to give us strength to endure them.

Then comes the most difficult part for most of us, Being Patient. God will not leave us alone with our trials, he will stay right with us and help us grow.

So don’t just have joy, have “Pure Joy” when faced with these trials and struggles because of the growth they will produce in our lives.

Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight. ~ Proverbs 3:5,6
